Akismet Spam Milestone

Akismet had caught over one hundred million spam. At my end, Akismet blocked over 120,000 spam!

I am getting a few thousands spam each day for this site. The total number of caught spam has exploded from 10,000 in May 2006 to over 120,000 now!

Thanks to Akismet for blocking the spam. :)

    Akismet caught about 11k of spam on my blog. But it is still not that satisfied. I was once forced to off comment on my blog due to heavy spam even though Akismet was on. :X

    you know what, i just activated the akismet when i got back from travel in JB. it’s doing a pretty good job. and fyi, your comment page got a problem, the text is not aligned properly (ignore this if u r updating the code).

    I agree with Paul: as soon as I activated: register before you comment, the spam went down like nobodies bussiness :)

    yes, prior registration can also fight spam but you would probably lose some potential commentors
