Besides antivirus, firewall HAS become compulsory. That’s why you see Microsoft enable Windows XP buil-in firewall as default in the Windows XP SP2(firewall is disable as default in Windows XP).

i tried to download the microsoft patch , but was not successful. so dont blame everyone who did not download the patch. ur advise on having a firewall is vry sound. not many companies who sell computers or article writers emphasise the importance of having a firewall as well as the well-touted antivirus software. even the pc retail outlets, did not sell the firewall package as much as they advertise and sell the antivirus package. maybe it should be compulsory to include a firewall program and antivirus program on all computers sold. i doubt this will happen , as monopoly issues will arise.

no no that process is altot is call netsky bla bla bla
but its “born” by sasser … i think it written in microsoft support site..
i can’t really recall.. study quite a lot of site for this virus ..

Fighting Sasser
I was bz for this virus yesterday ..
lots of my company laptop user been affect by it , this virus was aiming on win 2k, win xp and win server 2003,
so the funny part our old server which running on win nt is ok .. our new laptop which running win x…
