Filed in: Life Log — May 30th, 2004For the first time, audience laugh loud at the very first 5 seconds of the movie in the cinema. Not because of the movie, but the Malay translation of the movie title – “The Day After Tomorrow“. ![]()
Yup, I watched “The Day After Tomorrow” today(Saturday).
I went with the twins housemates. GuoLiang bought the tickets at the day before yesterday and we got very good seats. But he met an accident on the way back that day. Fortunely, he is just slightly injured.
Back to the movie. It has VERY GOOD visual effects. But, so-so story(is there any story?). The movie focus too much on its amazing computer graphic effect. But, that’s what people want to see, right?
There are many terms, maps, analysis which may not understood by most people. If the movie wants to make people aware of the green house effect, then it failed.

Thought:
Afterall, it worth RM11 ticket(increased RM1 than normal price) even just watch the visual effects. After watched the movie, GuoLiang and I feel that we are lucky to lives in Malaysia – a country in equator region. ![]()
By the way, the chinese subtitle for the movie is TERRIBLE! I highly suspect the qualifications of the translator… ![]()
The moral of the story? Well, if you love anyone, tell him/her before too late… Nah.
“Be Prepared. Anything will happend at the day after tomorrow.”
