TAIPEI, Taiwan — Toshiba Corp. is planning to launch a 60GB version of its 1.8-inch hard disk drive in the coming months and has already found a customer in Apple Computer Corp., the company said Wednesday here at the Computex 2004 exhibition in Taipei.

Assume one MP3 file is 5MB, the 60GB iPod can store up to 12 288 songs! It means 40 days of continues song playing without single repeated song(assume each song is 5minutes). Wow!

I am not a fan of MP3 player, basically I listen music only from radio. The ultra tiny hard disk drive is useful for small devices. Maybe we will have mobile phone with hard disk drive soon? :)
