hi, lcf working at home is no shame.

When you do not get a salary pay does not mean it is
end of income flow. Put it this way – many remisers works
at home and earns few thousands of bucks. hehe.. does this
bring up your mood?

I work at home too. Just make sure that my parents do not
get into my work time. Most important is coordination.
Plan well before schedule. This is how most famous movie
stars attend work shifts in different hours of the day. They
have managers to plan for them. You can plan yourself.

freelancing is indeed good. like you said, flexible time and in the comofort of the home.
i had been recently offered a ‘freelance’ job too from an IT solution company. this company
all the staffs are chinese educated and need me to write up something for their website.
and just 2 days ago another person offered me to do mass emailing for him, which he will pay me!

Do what you enjoy the most. To ignore what other people say about you is difficult. To avoid them asking you the same question, just tell them that you need a long break: 2 months or so (you no need to tell the truth what…). In that case, they will stop asking about that same dreadful question with that dreadful look …

Working at home is much fun, like what you said. Plan some “BIG” thing … like come out with friendster site or something like that… you know, I always believe that studying IT can help us go “BIG” quicker than other career… go “BIG” not in terms of $… just think of the fame you can build, and $ will slowly come to you. Just like Linus Torvald. He doesn’t get $ from Linux, but he was hired handsomely by Transmeta because of his reputation.

yeah some idiots always tend to say that not having a job is a shame – those fools are seriously deluded
not to say that having a job is not good, i’ve expereinced these people too, in a different way (drugs, look down on me)
they only want to make themselves feel better
good on you to quit a job that you can’t stand.
you did what most of us doesn’t dare to do
