Secure Internet Explorer for Windows XP Only

Microsoft this week reiterated that it would keep the new version of Microsoft’s IE Web browser available only as part of the recently released Windows XP operating system, Service Pack 2. The upgrade to XP from any previous Windows versions is $99 when ordered from Microsoft. Starting from scratch, the OS costs $199.

Seems like Microsoft encourage users to use Firefox, the secure and free web browser huh? ;)

  • Wheee Firefox! I love using it, switched over from Opera
  • Although, Microsoft has released SP2 and fix for IE and Windows XP. It doesn't really win those broswer which are given free for example FireFox, Opera, Neoplanet. Im a frequent surfer on the net and i would out that FireFox always does the best job. It load a page faster than IE and other else browser depending on the internet connection.

    Mozilla Firefox will always load the text only then follow by the graphic.
    This is the ver of Mozilla Firefox that im using :

    Yup, the way to render web page is different between Mozilla and IE. Mozilla will render text and content inside TABLE tag first, therefore we can see the page content faster.
