Appendix Surgery

It was Tuesday night, I felt stomachache and pain until Wednesday morning, plus vomits. Went to clinic at Wednesday morning, after checking by the doctor, I was suspected got acute appendix.
In the same day afternoon, my brother fetched me to Johor Bahru Medical Specialist Centre for appendix surgery. About 3-4pm, I was send in surgery room and 45 minutes later, it was done. When I awake, the nurse showed me the 3-4 inches appendix cut off from my body. It is black, thin and long shape…
Phew… I don’t feel stomachache anymore. 
Slept in the hospital for the night, checkout on the next day evening. Doctor gave me 14 days MC. 
Called to my office today, my manager also shocked by the long MC period.
I feel ok, but still weak. Can only eat “soft” food. Cannot cough. Cannot laugh too loud…
Tomorrow mom and younger brother will goto Kuala Lumpur for my sister’s graduation ceremony. My elder brother will accompany me at home and cancel his plan to goto his friend’s wedding.
Thought:
When doctor said I got acute appendix, my mom very worry about me and I almost see tears drop from her eyes… My heart felt pain more than my appendix at the time…
Fortunately, I am at home. I cannot imagine what will happen if I am working alone in outstation and got acute appendix in the night…
By the way, buy insuran if you haven’t. It had settle my hospital bill for two times, around RM10,000.
