I've used a few, no problem for me since I am a Linux user at home, but when I lent them to my non Linux friends I sometimes have to teach them how to mount/umount.Plus, not all users know how to mount a hard disk in Linux, but the thumb drives are hot-pluggable and auto-mounted (mostly), like Knoppix or MandrakeMove Depending on which LiveCD as well. Just place the Live CD into CDROM and boot up PC from it (you may need to change BIOS bootup option).
