Install New Anti-Spam Comment and Comment Shortcut Buttons Plugins

Installed two wordpress plugins. One for comment reply box, another for anti spam comment.


Comment Quicktags

Comment Quicktags – add a few buttons for HTML codes, easier to write HTML(link, style) comment.

Kitten’s Spaminator – another anti comment spam plugin for WordPress. Easy install and do not need configuration.

Thought:
I was using WPBlacklist, but it easily got false report. I wonder how many comments are deleted without my knowledge. I look thru Wordpress Combating Comment Spam page, and selected Spaminator. Hope it works well for my blog. :)

    Ya, I installed a new plugin - StatTraq, but haven't write about it in my blog. It is a blog statistic plugin for wordpress.

    If you only want to show the current visitors online, it can be done easily by using simple PHP script.

    Check out Statistics Plugins, too.

    @ZEO: there are many plugins that I am using not release for ver 1.5 yet. I shall wait for awhile more.

    better then Kitten’s Spaminator ... personal experience ^^

    u should consider upgrade to 1.5, there's a NEW features build-in comment management both for valid commenters and spammers.
    but yet u need to add extra rules(mod_rewrite?) to ur htaccess or some php script for spam referer or trackback spam.
    btw i prefer spam-karma.
