Careful with Spyware Doctor! I ran it on a system with a CDilla “license manager” for an Autodesk software and the good Doctor knock it out, leaving the software unable to load.

Ya, SpySweeper is good. But paying US$29.95 for a spyware removal is not necessary for me, since I only use spyware removal to help OTHERS’ PC.

Hi,

I’ve tried several of these tools, but WebRoot’s Spysweeper is still the best one around, largest and most active database. I highly recommend it.

Interesting blog btw, I just happened to stop by based on a trackback.

The official site download does NOT clean spyware, it is scan only. Get Spyware Doctor installation download from Download.com, instead. I am sorry for the mistake. Thanks Fren for the notice.

It removes spyware? I installed the free version but it asked for license before the spyware to be removed. It can only scan.. not remove
