wah! this advice came to me so timely. past days i had been contemplating of starting a few other blogs just to put google adsense in them.

anyway in time to come, i might start another blog but don't worry, this blog will be full of content. :)

I believe it's an under-development site.

But it's still unethical to have ads on a development site.

there's not even a single effort put in... (only if you consider the ungly green banner as an effort)

You may noticed that the designed-by in question has been top on Google, no 2 for a long time since for keyword "malaysia web design", without the quotes. It maybe part of their search engine ranking or SEO strategy. Whatever you said, they're getting their results. So this is not a case of stupidity, rather part of their SERP works.
The site has change a lot since then but pretty much useless if you want to find maps about malaysia. Having said that, their implementation however quite clever too by asking people to submit maps but they are not hosting the map themselves on their server, rather link the map from other people server.
Whatever it is, the design company sucks and they know it.

it will be annoying for tourists if they want to find malaysia map..
