LiewCF.com is Now PR5

Finally, the Google PageRank for LiewCF.com is upgraded to PR5 today. The tech forum got PR4 now. Some popular posts also get PR3 for the pages themselves. :)

What does it means?
It meas this site is more important in Internet. :P

With high PR, your content easier to get high rank in Google search, and Google spider visits your site more often. Some people say high PR site get higher pay from Adsense ads.

How to increase PR?
Write good content. Remember, content is the king. You may also try to do quality link exchange. No, do not create a link farm. Do link exchange with websites with simialr content(same theme).

Who else got PR increased?
There are quite a number of Malaysian bloggers got PR increased, most of them are around PR4 to PR5. Congrats!

    To check Google PageRank, I still recommend to use the official Google toolbar. :)
  • i clicked on lcf's google link for the page rank checkers, they gave different results though. most of them in the first page gave PR 0 for my site which i believe is more to truth lol and two of them gave PR 3 (checkpagerank.com and onlyphp.com). any clue base on what soure did they get PR 3?

  • If you have good content, the PR increase != if PR increase, then you have good content.


    I didn't agree that PR is related content. Its just a calculation of quality of links to your websites. It's a game of link building campaign.

    If one day, your article get slashdotted, and lots of people quote your article and link back to your. You get lots of quality links from sites that share the similar theme with yours. Then, in this case, quality contents may help in your page ranking.

    In Kahsoon's case, it just maybe his site have more backward links. (> 600 BL). It doesn't mean that its quality is better than other site with lower PR.

    After all, this is just a game of Google. No one knows when will Google change their algo :)

    Ya, PR is just result of some formulas regarding quality of linking among the websites. So, linking with websites that share the same themes is important.

    Y1: if you install Google toolbar, it will display the pagerank. Or, use online pagerank checker.

    my blog's PR decrease to 3.Dunno why.but my new site (the domaiin is less than one month old) get a 3.I think G is still updating though.My photoblog increased from 3 to 4.
