Feedster, the RSS Search Engine, release a Top 500 blogs in Internet this month (the list will be updated monthly). I scanned through the list and found TWO Malaysian bloggers are listed!

First, Jeff Ooi’s Screenshots. Position #389
Top 500 Blogs - Jeff Ooi

Second, Kenny Sia! Position #397
Top 500 Blogs - Kenny Sia

Both of blogs have about 1000 links back. (LiewCF.com has only 250+ links)

Thought:
Now I got a new target. Enter the Top 500 blogs list! How to make people link to my blog(at least 800 link back)?

Hmm… Create a popular theme and insert blog link in footer. Write original content that is exclusive, arguable, exclusive, interesting…

  • Feedster calculates the list based on links going in and out. In other words, if you link heaviy to others, but no one links to you, you can still make it to the list :)

how about getting rid of those unnecessary and annoying advertisement first?

I think only the back links in blog posts are counted.

Scott: Top blogs based on countries is great!
  • Heh so what if make it to the top500 list, not like they give each blogger 1mill lidat...lmao! Heh i only got like 100+ links
  • all the best

I got veli little bl...no hope for most of us.
  • Thank you.

Also, only inbound links are counted. Outbound links help in Google but not in what we're doing.
