You’re right…traffic’s picking up but not revenue =)

Anyway, pls accept my apologies. I’ve made a notice on SARA to remind Malaysian bloggers to add their feeds to PPS RSS.

btw, the bandwidth required for lilina’s huge though…are you sure your hosting can handle it?

Income from adsense income from PPS can’t cover the operating costs, though every little bit helps. And while the PPS RSS service is in BETA, i won’t put any ads there, it not right to put ads on a BETA service.

I’ve said it many times, but i’ll say it again: PPS exists to promote Malaysian blogging and advocate our right to free speech. All other considerations are secondary. There isn’t much left in this world that exists for altruistic reasons, but PPS does.

So it really doesn’t matter if people bypass PPS or not, as long as they get an easy way to read what other Malaysians are writing about. The only caveat i have to this rule is that if you want to contribute to PPS, it generally means you have to be a member. That allows me the comfort of some editorial discretion (which is sometimes very necessary, i’m sure everyone will agree).

I’m a capitalist at heart, however, there are some things worth doing because they should be done, and not because of “what’s in it for me”.

actually looking at the PPS traffic, their income must be quite high isn’t it? with SARA, although there were only a couple of visits the returns are really quite good..even when the ads are in an obscure area…

no wonder everyone wants a piece of the action….hehe =)

You can actually subscribe to the category in a different type of way through the OPML files available right at the bottom which you can then upload to your own RSS reader. Just right-click and save.
