Finally, somebody is interested on LiewCF.com content and make a copy on his/her own blog. Apparently, bluecollarseo.com is reading my site feed and selectively copy & paste the articles into its own blog.

Yes, it is not my original content. But the site goes too far that even copy & paste my Amazon.com affiliate links (http://bluecollarseo.com/?p=249)! Maybe I should say “thank you” to the site, instead? ;)

Thought

Now you know why many websites do not publish full content site feed? It is too easy to make a “sister site” by fetching the site feed.

If you want to copy, please at least make a credit to the site where you copy the content from.

  • LcF
nah. it is there because the script REQUIRED to add a link to the rss feed in wordpress. the site is using default wordpress theme that display all the links.

keep in mind, this is liewcf blog.
  • I love the description of his page:

There is no substitute for hardwork

    Is he serious?
  • Come to think of it , if someone copy your content , it shows that your blog got substance, look at it from the brighter side , it is in fact a complement.
  • Hello Everybody,

Today gives me plenty of surprise. The first one was somebody calling me "Thieve" in one of the blog comment. After that, I saw this site of mine here in liewcf's blog.

Blog theft is such a serious word. If there is anybody who think I'm a thieve, I'm not.

bluecollarseo.com is one of my experimental site, strictly for experiment. I did not copy the content. I was testing out the feedwordpress, compile with other plugins of wordpress. To prove that, this domain name was fairly new, have 0 (zero) visitors (*until you post it here.. or should I say "thanks?") and I have absolutely no plan to push this site in future (not with those feeds content). I have absolutely no idea anybody would find this site of mine. My guess is LCF found it from the referral link. I sincerely apologise if there was any misunderstanding on stealing the content from hmmm, lcf?

I can list out 1000 reasons for a splog (spam blog) not to steal content from liewcf.com, but I just would like to list out a few. First, this blog has LITTLE OR NO UNIQUE CONTENT. It is a hsplog, Half-a-Spam-Blog. And liew, if you are reading this, I appreciate what you have done here to help the people, but your site makes us think you are so hungry for pennies, stuffing every single area with ads, and provide us the C+V content.

Anyway, I laughed out loud when I saw this post, especially from you ;) I have a few constructive suggestion for you (and I'm sure most of your reader will agree with me):

    1. Write more unique, valuable content. Example. I know you like SEO (that's why I occasionally drop by your blog). Tell us your experience of any of your sites in SEO. Compile some day to day report.

    2. Don't cut and paste those Tech news where we can read at any places 10X better than this one and give us a 1-2 sentence (my thought).

    3. Take your photo down. Seriously. This is better than the previous one. But still....

    4. Take away your advertisements. If this site gives us unique and valuable content, we will be happy to donate to you if you put up "donate by paypal" button. I know you are desperate for pennies. But don't show it.

Lastly, I wish you good luck on your journey to pro-blogger.

    Thank you for comment, bluecollarseo.

I know you are using the feedwordpress plugin, please remember to put a link back to the origin next time. I take back the "theft" word.

    1. yes, I will. :)
    2. the tech news are for those do not visit tech news sites.
    3. that's how I look like.
    4. sorry, I can't.
