Hello guys! Some of you have wondering where have I been last few days. As most of you already know, I am on my vacation. I am now still in Kuala Lumpur, just back from Penang this morning.

It has been almost a week I am away from my home, but I will still living in KL for few more days until my iBook fixed. I was expecting that takes a week to fix the notebook, but seems like it will take a longer time. :-/

Take care, guys.

  • Hi! Liew

It's YC from the Technocrat Soapbox.

After watching 'Sex and the City' (titled 'My Motherboard, My Self') tonight, I just had to write to you.

In this episode, Carrie's iBook died on her while she was writing (btw, Carrie is the protaganist, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, just in case you don't watch 'Sex and the City'). She had the older, black iBook, not like the sleek one you have.

Don't mean to be unsympathetic towards your situation...but are iBooks really that unreliable? Don't get me wrong...I'm a big Apple fan and would get an iBook in a heartbeat if I have extra $$ by the end of the year.

    Take it easy.

  • Hey, come over to the 'real' Petaling Street and meet me there for lunch, Liew. If you are not afraid of talking to a fellow blogger who is a stranger :)

I'm the geeky guy with the PDA eating Kueh Teow or Mee Hoon during lunch time. I'm there almost every day. It's a coffee shop located beside Petaling Street. I have pictures of it at my blog.

i have an ibook g3 and a g4, i must say that the g3 (clamshell) is much more reliable than the g4 with less problems. speaking of motherboards, mine went on my ibook g4 two weeks ago, thank God i bought the extended warranty! it works fine now, but i have friends with powerbooks who say that they are much more reliable than the ibook. i love my ibooks either way. i would recommend not moving it around too much, that is where you get trouble. otherwise, go for it!
