the best way to bid on ebay is to watch the item your interested in then when there about 5 mintues to go enter your maxim bid. That way the other bidders keep trying to beat the max bid that you placed but run out of time.
I learnt this the hard way through many a time someone just beats me to it with about 50p higher!

I love to bid at the last minute. I think the price is lower that way. This way, the price is not jack up. It is call snipe bidding and there is software out there to help you bid as well. But I trust my own mouse click only.

Psychologically, if you bid and lose, you feel like bidding higher to win back. Causing more bid, and price is high.

Scenerio A
Say A bid $40.00

but bid is currently $35

next bid would be $36 (if 1 dollar bid increment)

if my budget is 40.00 (I would bid $40.02).

I would win with $40.02 (it is more than a dollar increment from the current bid price of $35, therefore it is valid, if price is at $40, then $40.02 is not a valid bid)

Scenerio 2
Say B bid $35.00

but bid is currently $35

next bid would be $36 (if 1 dollar bid increment)

if my budget is 40.00 (I would bid $40.02).

I would win with with $36

yes, it is quite sad. I was happy because I received it finally but then it “bom” and gone… Everything back to normal as I never received it before. I will try to contact Malaysia Netgear agent to ask for replacement (if possible).

yup it was a waste to hear that…well currently i’m using a linsys wireless router too.. but the compact version (Linksys WRT54GC wireless router)

the size is smaller and comes with an optional slot for arial expansion which i think need purchase from singapore….overall i’m satisfied with mine..i hope you too…

anyway u should have got a europe version of netgear instead… with 240v input

I find it weird that something like a wireless router doesn’t come with a 100-240V AC adapter nowadays. I’d like to know how much is saved by Netgear by doing that. I for one would gladly pay extra in order not to worry about stuff like that.
