get SE K700i. i used it too and it's great. the price is great too, now that it is less than RM1k. when i got it, it was RM1400.

SE k700i is quite a decent phone. My brother is using and he is loving it. But there's one problem though, on long term, the joystick might get a little "rusty", if you know what I mean. But i guess it all depends on how u use it.

As for motorola, I don have any experience with it. No comment on that.

I personally prefers SE over Motorola. I don like motorola's design and GUI. :)

Comparing the specification on this two phones, the Motorola L6 has 10MB built in storage while the SE700i has 42MB. With this 10MB storage, there is no point storing any MP3s, Videos, Photos, Games, and Themes.

I personally have the SE K700i and here is what i comment about the pros and cons

Pros
1.The user interface is very user friendly comparing to the old Nokias
2. It has 42MB built in storage, just enough to store 3-4 high quality songs
3. The speaker is very loud and clear comparing to the mid-end hand phones nowadays. (Only problem is the bass which will hear buzzy sound)

Cons
1. The rubber strips underneath where you charge your phone, will getting to loose after a few times and it gets ugly. (However this can be replace in any SE store for RM10)
2. The shiny rubber sticker (Quick Share) will eventually comes off very easily. And also after a long used, it gets ugly too (Replacement cost RM10)
3. Battery life is very short if you are a regular user which will only last about half day. This will only happen if you are playing MP3s, Videos and Games for long hours. Else user like me that only receives calls and sms will last for 3 days standby.

Overall the features are great and no regreting getting K700i over motorola L6, unless you really HATE the rubber strips and rubber sticker on SE K700i.

SE K700 not bad, but also can consider Nokia 6600 if dont mind the bulky size. It's more flexible compare to K700 in terms of program and memory.

I prefer SonyEricsson K700i. :)

SE is not bad, but I dont like it's key pad. Sometimes, it is not so sensitive until I have to press the key again & again... :)

motoroal GUI is not my cup of tea.

hie..i'm using k700i now. I prefer this compared to motorola as it's not that user friendly. The common problem after long usage with k700i is the joystick and occasionally it will get "slow". The camera quality is good enough for me as well as the memory.

Get SE K700i. My brother is using K700i as well. After switching to SE, I've also felt in love with SE phones - great features at good price.

I have bad experience with Moto though hehe. Personally, I don't like Moto user interfaces and controls at all.

Motorola? I'd think twice, after this :-)

Motorola is a good phone. But if you ask for hi-tech features, it may not suite you.

In all honesty, I have th Motorola L6. I'm the kind of guy that just calls people and recieves calls and that is it. In terms of games, music, radio... i have psp, ipod. I love the L6, its the kind of phone you can keep in your poket and not have to hold it in your hand because its soo bulky. Thats it, thats the main beuty of the phone, its so thin you won't realize your wearing it. I admit the GUI is a bit hard to use, but I really don't care about it. As long as I can find my contact, call him/her, and recieve calls. I couldn't ask for more. Also the L6 is quite durable. have dropped it a couple of times, and it works.

i have a k700i.i love it but the joystick lets the phone down as it doesnt go up or down so i was wondering if there is a picture guide to cleaning the joystick????????

i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its a class phone.looks good, handles well and it has an mp3 radio video and a camers who could ask for more!!!!

i have got motorola L6 and i am delighted to get it...its user friendly and so far i know its nice to look and obviously a smart set..but i am afraid i dont get yet any softwer to connect it with my PC.....so my solicitation is to get any feedback to solve this problem.again should say it will be nothing but my pleasure if i get the laconic direction how can i connect it with my PC...........and i am waiting thats moment when it will come as true

No idea about Motorola L6, but Sony Ericsson K700i is a more conventional with great screen & is easy to use. Came across something similar on K700i at

de memory is 2 low!!
only 10MB!!
camera,only VGA..
low quality graphic..
but it have MP3..
the functions not a lot..
only a basic func..:((
but u can update it..
