i am getting downloading speed aroun 12 to 13kb/s

steal your neighbors wireless signal, i am and i get anywhere up to 120kbps download, and once or twice up to 300kbps, amazingly. at any rate, its better than what youve got.

go to the site of greedytorrent and dl greedytorrent
run gt and go to preferences and see the port
them go to utorrent and press control+p
goto connection put use http as proxy and type there ip adderes
127.0.0.1, put the port for proxy which you had seen in greedytorrent preferences...

No seriously, I wouldn't know, usually I single out the most succesfull and start looking for alternatives for the others.
At most succesfull downloads I get around 450 to 500 kbps.

Try a monitoring tool to see what's actually going on.

that crack is for windows xp(sp2) and it doesnt work on vista...

@Gagan: 1KiloBIT/Sec (KBs) is not equal to 1 KiloByte/Sec (Kbs). your download speed of 25KBs on 512kbs connection seems normal for me.

i use a connection of 100mbps wireless......bt my download speed goes upto 10-20kbps.........

Mine says "disk overloaded 100%". Is that what is causing the slowdown? I am at 4300 k/sec cable but I can never get more than 10k/sec download no matter how many seeders. How do I fix the "disk overload" issue?

First go to Options>Preferences>Network

1. Under ‘Port used for incomming connections’, enter any port number. It is best to use a port number above 10000. I use 45682.
2. Randomize port each time utorrent starts: UNCHECKED. I leave this unchecked because I have a router. If you do not have a router or a firewall, and want extra security,check this option.

Now my upload speed increased from 33 kb/s to 100 kb/s by increasing the upload load limit from 1kb/s to 30 kb/s.
Option->Preference->Bandwidth

It is simple if you give more you can take more.
