Prepare a contact us form, so that the interested advertisers can contact you.
Promote your ad space for free in related web forums and also website with free advertising space, e.g. iwebtool.com link market
Actively contact any possible advertisers, which can be found in webmaster forums. Make sure your website matches the advertiser’s requirements.

What you say? Would you prefer the 3rd party to handle ads sales for you, or you do it by yourselves?

Of course, you can use both ways at the same time to sell ads.

but i think it's hard for yourself to value your own site isn't it? how much do you think it'll cost to advertise in liewcf?

i do both,i think in order to do that you would have to be an active member of popular forums..just to get the diea of how much people are paying for ads..etc...

forums like digitalpoint,sitepoint and namepros are a good place to start.
