aku juga selalu bermasalah dgn tmnet. nak kena slalu komplain baru diorh nih buat keje.

tp apa2 mslh pon diorg tetap nak salahkan pc dan wiring rumah kita. takkanlah nak buat wiring dan beli pc sebulan sekali sedangkan problem tu dtg dr diorang.
nih la mslh kalau 1 syarikat yg monopli bisnes nih. cuba kalau ada saingan mcm antara celcom,maxis, digi dan lain2 tu. baru la servis akan jd bagus sebab masing2 nak bg servis terbaik

FIRST OF ALL… 1 Mbps means “one mega-bit per second” not “one mega-byte per second”. This is what confuses people.
8 bits make up one byte.
so,
1024 bits X 1024 bits
= 1,048,576 bits / 8 bits per byte
= 131,072 bytes
= 128kB/second
b = bit = one lightbulb
B = byte = eight lightbulbs
(1024 is used instead of 1000 in byte-metrics)
125kB/s is just the limit the line could go. You still don’t know how fast the servers and TMNet is.
Now, I think its TMNet that is slowing things down. They have not upgraded their servers for years already.

is very slow……i download a file at a speed of 2 kb/s using streamyx…zzzzzzzz so slow…..

yeah.. im so mad about streamyx speed especiallt while downloading using torrent.. we should all complaint to TMnet so they no all its user are not impressed with its service

Do you heard the rumours that TMNut already slow down your BT connection? I heard they want to follow Jaring Packages.. Pay based on your total download per day. Is it true? BTW before this my BT download was around 200kbps but right now its about 50kbps and I cannot surf to other website if my download already reach to 50kbps.

did you guys check your router for the line speed from the tmnet trunk to your line ? that’s important. I am subscribed with a 512 kb package but my router shows I’m connected at 1MBps. Sweet

I living in Kuantan… and i seriously have problem with darn TMnet d!
when i was 1mb…my speed was only bout 30kb than i downgrade to 512k and the speed now is around 20kb…
What is wrong with TMnet?i went to complaint and they said my house area is using older port so the speed slower?!

Yup, surft at low traffic hours (early morning) is faster.

I am using OpenDNS now, it is better than TMnet DNS.
More detail report coming later.
