PayPerPost Aquires Performancing, Good or Bad?
Filed in: Weblog — December 30th, 2006
Performancing was one of my favorite blog with many useful articles. I was surprised when I read “PayPerPost Acquires Performancing.com” that PayPerPost will be acquiring Performancing.com, Performancing Metrics, a free blog analytics service, and Performancing Exchange, an online classifieds for bloggers.
However, the Perfomancing Partners, a blog ad network, and Performancing for Firefox, a free blog editor, are not included. Even so, many Performancing members felt disappointing about the decision.
Why aquires Performancing?
“The main purpose of the acquisition appears to be for PayPerPost to get access to the 28,000 Performancing users, most of whom are bloggers and potential customers of PayPerPost.” said TechCrunch.
Having access to weblogs’ analytics data, PayPerPost can pay bloggers based on their blog value like ReviewME. Currently, PayPerPost pays the same amount to every bloggers.

PayPerPost is paying blogger $10 for writing “PayPerPost Acquires Performancing.com“. Easy money, huh? But I do not write for PayPerPost. ![]()
