im using darlie… but i usually ask the retail shop to give a me a colgate eventhough i ask darlie. its a household name. same like maggi. eventhough i wanted mamee or cintan.
anyway, adsense definitely targeted it at malaysian; with related word or title in the post. My blog never got such ads. :crying here: but proud to be malaysian!

Colgate said it halal. But if halal why not use halal logo from Jakim ? Many Colgate pamolive product not made in malaysia.

Kos untuk mendapatkan sijil halal kurang RM 1,000 sahaja. Bukankah ini satu penghinaan besar di sebuah Negara yang agama rasminya Islam

Sehingga kini Colgate enggan bekerjasama dengan PPIM untuk membuktikan sijil halal Thailand yang didakwanya ada serta membuktikan bahawa produk-produknya HALAL.· Apa pula status produk Colgate di pasaran yang datang daripada China, Vietnam dan Amerika? Siapakah yang memberi jaminan ini? Bush…? · Janganlah kita berurusan dan menyokong syarikat yang menghina dan tidak menghormati umat Islam.

Kita sokonganlah produk-produk daripada syarikat yang bertanggungjawab dan prihatin terhadap keperluan masyarakat Islam setiap kali kita membeli;Kita bersatulah dalam memboikot Ubat Gigi Colgate serta menghantar isyarat jelas bahawa para pengguna Islam akan bersatu memulau produk yang tidak menghormati keperluan dan kepentingan umat Islam.

It’s a trend I noticed in tooth paste advertising in Malaysia to use the word “halal” even though it’s already obvious. (for the big brands anyway)

I think their marketing team is targeting Malaysia as their geographical location so the ad may be visible to surfers from Malaysia only.

After the High 5 bread scandal put the company’s profit to floor, it seemed Colgate had to woo back Muslim customers who flock to a more trusted Halal toothpaste.

So they have to blatantly declare – it’s halal!

No Colgate for me. Darlie or Mukmin are one I used.

I believe this ad are targeting the Malaysian Muslims..They used the term “Halal” which mean that muslims can use it!
Does this mean that there was a rumor in Malaysia saying that toothpastes are using forbidden materials for muslims(pig, Alcohol..etc)?!

LiewCF.com is a tech blog, a toothpaste ad is not relevant to the site content.
