I just received an invitation to join Auction Ads from TLA.
It seems somewhat interesting and I will definitely try it out to see how it goes.

Just a tip: When testing out a pay per action program like AA leave it on your website for at least 1 month to see results.

I believe there’s a potential to make some money from AuctionAds.

I just tried this method which is to use the URL converter to promote a specific product.

I wrote a post about step by step guide to create an online games site. Will see if it works. Probably will take some time though. This is the link.

If you have a lot of traffic, Auction Ads can work pretty well. They have info on their site, but after using them for about 2 months ($39 and $81) I can tell you what I think is important:

1) Good placement within your site design, just like AdSense.

2) Spend time choosing the keywords, and check them on the ebay site. I found I had to use some manufacturers names to get the ads I wanted to see. Just using “servers” showed things like “cake servers”. “Cars” can show $20k cars or $5 toys.

Chitika had great ads, but their company positivly SUCKED!! I was ripped off by them and I’m still bitter over it… Anyway, they did have GREAT ads (not that it matters if they won’t pay you!). I started mid-month with Auction Ads on two sites and saw some nice income, which by the way may not show up as quickly as other programs. The visitors get tagged like an affiliate program and if they don’t join or buy for a few days there will be a delay in the income – it seems to get tagged back to the date when they clicked, or maybe I’m crazy…

Anyway, both months I got paid right away on the first of the month without asking!
