I just did a Google Search on the importance of page rank and this site came up. Thanks I think you finally answered my question which was…
If we are getting search engine results with many relevant keyword phrases resulting in traffic and our page rank is say at ‘zero’ (ermm) why should page rank matter. I guess I am a little twisted about this as I have worked like crazy to get any page rank. In the end it just started to become an ego thing. I think people are going to come to my site and say if you are so good at what you do why are you a zero? Finally I just decided, I don’t care anymore.

yeah, did he hacked the Google PR to display a fake PR like all those tutorial found online and charge the advertiser for a PR7 site? I smell a rat! his blog has 100+ feed reader only, with a handful of links and traffic. where does the PR7 comes from?

For me, I see no point on having a high traffic blog especially if it’s generally a personal blog. I can avoid having moved to dedi / VP server and live happily ever after in a shared hosting.

Don’t oversell sponsored links unless you have backup site with the same PR mmmkay?
