I was looking for information about Celcom wireless broadband plan and discovered that Celcom Malaysia has a annoying flash animation on its homepage.

The Celcom website front page is annoying because the flash loader is playing sound of electricity without stop. There is no option to turn off the sound. The flash “bomb” when loading completed.

What we get is only 2 images sliding in between: Lee Hom(Hon, Celcom wrongly spelled it) and 4 famous football stars. That’s all. I wonder what is the point of the annoying flash animation?

Come on, Celcom. You can have a better front page for your website!

Update:Lee Hom” is correct english name for 王力宏. [thanks, Felix Ker]

  • useless flash. no button or anything to click on in the flash.
  • At least it's got Lee Hom in it :P though flash is a bit overkill for 2 images lol
  • I couldn't be bothered to look at their flash.. usually i just click straight to their products link. I agree it's darn annoying everytime you try to load that site.

I am also so fedup with this idiotic Celcom website, super un-user-friendly and yes, no option to shut it up or turn off the flash option. That's it, initially was considering celcom mobile, broadband, 3G internet too. bye bye celcom

No surprise to this cuz, after all, their 3g plans scuks big time. Aggressive marketing but no consideration for customer service - simply NIL at this point. C'mon Celcom, wake up! The customers are always right! Do something that brings results, not empty promises. Even website too scuks. I don't see any point of having it.
