TMNet Service Disruption (August 2007)
Filed in: Tmnet — August 29th, 2007For Malaysians, if you are experiencing slow Internet connection speed again after recovery from the last TMNet Streamyx service interruption, it is because TMNet is replacing its network equipment.
Here is the latest news from TMNet Newsroom:
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) would like to inform its customers that its Internet services are experiencing some degradation in performance due to the replacement of network equipment at its Network Operations Center for Northern and Southern regions and East Malaysia.
Restoration works on the affected infrastructure will be performed from 11.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 until 12.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 29 August 2007.
On the another news of the day, TMNet informed that TMNet is performing a service upgrading exercise on its Streamyx system in Tawau, Sabah from 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 August 2007.
As a result, Streamyx customers in Tawau may experience a disruption of service during the stipulated period.
