Don't you get a receipt from the bank showing the exchange rate and
charges?

By the way, you should use western digital to receive adsense payment.

in July 2009 I clear my google adsense check at CIMB bank. I got RM1200 from my google adsense check USD362. I dont know how much service charge, but if the currency exchange rate 3.5 the service charge around RM60 per check. It is to high service charge.

Hi! Thanks for the very informative blog on receiving money via western union.

I'm very new to this. Need to ask you one question. In adsense when enter payee name eg yourself

First name : CF
Surname : Liew

so it will come out as CF Liew

But Msian NRIC will be Liew CF. Will it cause a problem when its time to claim the money from the Bank?

I remember getting My first WU payment which was like 4k USD, but seems like they don’t send payments more than 2,800 USD via WU any more.

@BT Khoo: yes, you have 35 days to pickup your adsense western union payment. If you didn’t pickup your adsense payment, the amount will be credit back to your adsense account.

Despite the fact that it is easy to implement Adsense it is not long attractive to its non-US customers because the U.S. dollar is falling, reportedly Google AdSense cares less about small to mid-sized publishers as they used to, etc.

There are claims that if “a European company will come along and provide the same service as Google AdSense, and charge in Euros, it would sweep up all non-U.S. websites in one go, without any doubt.”
