PC Fair 2008 (I)

The first edition of PIKOM PC Fair 2008 has started in April 2008 and held in 15 locations nationwide!

Here is the timetable for the PIKOM PC Fair 2008 (I):

4-6 April 2008 — Johor Bahru, Taiping, Sandakan, Tawau & Kuching
11-13 April 2008 — Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Kuantan, Kepala Batas & Muar
18-20 April 2008 — Penang, Melaka, Sibu, Miri & Manjung

Too bad, I can’t join PC Fair this time because I will be in Sabah with my friends. I was planning to get a slim camera that can put in my pocket. My elder brother wants to get a digital camcorders.
What do you plan to buy at PC Fair? I think you can get a good deal on LCD monitor, printers, camera and camcorders.

Already went to the fair at JB. As you said indeed, things like LCD monitor, printers, camera and camcorders could be bought at a great deal. And many exhibitors promoting PMP and mp3 player too~~~

I've attended the PC Fair here in Kuching and bought a 120GB WD external hard disk.

I bought 1 webcam RM28 ,they gave free headset"made in china"no wonder so cheap and 1 4GB pendrive cost me RM47,TOTA SPENT:RM75.

The design is simple and slim,in terms of software,I still prefer dopod.

Even I know there is PC Fair but I still buy My Wide Screen Monitor from Mines IT Center. Hahahaha... even I buy 2nd Dopod c800 .. Really love to see how this gadget make me excited....

for dopod wifi surf, the performance will be same with laptop or better?

pocket PC for surfing using wifi, is not the same as using a laptop..the answer is obvious...But if you have 3.5G PPC and laptop + unlimited internet access package with the network provider...it is a great feeling to be "connected" almost everywhere you go.
By HTC = Dopod, something like sister company..

1) good mobile kits, e.g. extractable usb cable, earphone,
2) <2ms LCD monitor,
3) may be a hp screen protector,
4) ram upgrade for my working laptop,
5) replacement harddisk for my home laptop...
6) "cooling fan station for laptop"(not sure abt the right term to use) hmmm....what else i need???...
Brought a laser printer last PC fair..
Better check out PCdepot pricelist before buy..

Any way, the fair is indeed a pc sales, but then everybody gets to buy at slightly cheaper price with the convenience of shopping at one place with many choices, I bought a lenovo notebook, window vista, antivirus and a 8GB pen drive at a bargain.

I'm normally use Wifi because it's free (home and office). GPRS also can but it very expensive and little it slow. Maybe others prefer to use GPRS but for me Wifi is better.
