Not only should you think twice about that commercial, you should think twice about purchasing the iPhone. I have been an owner of both the iPhone and iPhone 3G and have been very very unhappy with the speed of both.

In all my time with either iPhone or the 3G version, the phone has never come close to performing that fast, even when connected to WiFi. The commericial is a complete lie. I travel quite a bit for work and have yet to get GPS to work in Cinncinati, Columbus, or Indianapolis.

I would prefer getting the original one, if it is near RM1000 while the fake one may be RM400-RM500.

Hehe LiewCF, we know you could afford it … I am considering getting an iPod Touch also, but in Malaysia it costs about RM1400 for the 8GB one, I think.

Now considering buying a 2nd hand iPod Touch or iPhone from eBay.

Agree with AhTim. Most of Apple products are irresistable, just like its fruit Liew, any ideas when the iPhone 3G checks into the Msian market?
