I visited maybank2u.com and found the web layout very facinating with good colors and contrast. Well i guess that all the icons are alligned at the middle of the screen, these should be expanded to make them more visible. above all, it is a good attempt.

I wonder if there will be extra charges after this? As you know Maybank, they will even charge you for the air you breathe if they can.

I think they should opt for 1024×768 design, coz when I check my web analytic, resolution less than 1024×768 is below 5% of the total traffic, means that less and less people is using 800×600.

If they think they don’t want to ignore the 800×600 users, they can use 2 column layout, with 2/3 being the main content, and 1/3 as right sidebar. So when 800×600 users view, at least they can have full screen of the main content. Example at my job browsing page at Malaysia Freelance

I use maybank2u for share transaction, hopefully the web 2.0 will improve the speed, the existing version is ‘hopeless’.

I agree that it should add the calendar in too instead of the combo box. By the way, the agent ‘M’ should be easy to make it on the website by just add in ‘Ajax’ in. It is much more like ‘Ajax’ chat.

I thought more security site should not have more “Ajax” style request or respond. Thus, it might have some issues when the backend respond file is situated in SSL or https. But, Web 2.0 in Maybank2U i guess is more to the clean design UI and more dynamic content. Some how, it should not have some privacy contents post back to backend.
