Ever since I first used FF, I have made it my default browser. I only keep a copy of IE for testing purposes when I tweak some features of my blog or someone else's website. If Microsoft wants to keep up in the browser business, I guess they should burn IE and start from scratch again. I guess Bill's programmers are trapped in IE's weaknesses and limitations. They can't improve further until they work outside the IE framework.

Firefox has been my only choice of web browser since 2004, for it’s better security and speed. I am not sure why my current version is not upgraded, but I will definitely give it a try. If you ask me about Internet Explorer… it has become a white elephant to me.

Have been using Firefox all the while but this is the SLOWEST version…. in loading (after reboot) .. it’s a bug and has been filed by Mozilla.

Took nearly 3 mins for me, then after clearing IE cache, now it loads in 20secs … Google Chrome loads in 2secs flat.

While speed tests are good, I’d like to recommend another test that Steve Souders (formerly Yahoo! now at Google) has created called UA Profiler.

UA Profiler looks at a number of other key features that makes browsers fast besides JavaScript speed (such as parallel connections, caching, link prefetching, etc.) Firefox 3.5 gets the best score of any browser right now.

I have always liked Mozilla Firefox as my browser ever since it became available. I like how the webpages load. It’s simply a bit faster than that of IE. It’s so nice that they are always doing some upgrades to it.
