Then when he finally got kicked out of his dingy apartment, he felt he has to start living a balanced life, where the desire to fight crime has to be counterbalanced by the realistic expectation of putting food on table. A friend and kindred spirit, Bruce Wayne (Batman), suggested he try his luck at Japan and gave him some basic tips about running a multi billion dollar conglomerate. Spidey duly copied the business formula and swing his way to Japan. Long story short, business boomed and Spidey was able to hire fulltime employees to grow his fledgling business empire while he spends his free time in his basement, building a giant robot from the Japanese technologies which he picked up during his time here. Now fighting crime need not be a lonely task anymore. Hey, it may not be the Batmobile but at least it's a Giant Robo. You see, Spiderman was broke as hell in US.
