OMG! My iPhone 3GS is DEAD!

October 29th, 2009 | Category: Gadgets | Comments

My iPhone 3GS is dead after using it for 3 months! Yes, DEAD. Cannot turn it on. No screen display. “Bricked“!

Maxis iPhone 3GS photo

What happened?

I am not sure. It was so sudden! I was charging it then it was dead when I came back. Maybe electronic shock or something?

What to do now?

Nothing much I can do except to send the dead iPhone 3GS back to Maxis Communications Berhad, where I got my iPhone from, to get it fixed or a replacement unit.

Life without iPhone

Without iPhone, I update twitter less, check email less frequent, do not stay online on instant messengers, cannot log my body weight, cannot play games, cannot surf web on the go…

Hopefully can get back my iPhone very soon… Felt lost without iPhone. It has changed my life so much!

Updated: I had claimed the warranty for my dead iPhone 3GS. Click here to read about it.

I received a testing unit of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 (which was “S11″) netbook and brought it along with me to a holiday trip. The following is the review of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2:

Lenovo IdeaPad S11 (S10-2)

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 is slim and light. I can easily hold it on my left palm and type with my right hand.

If you think all netbook is light weight, try Asus EeePC 1000H. It is much heavier than IdeaPad S10-2!

Read on to see the size different between the two netbooks.

Most netbook has cut the size of right “Shift” key to squeeze more space but it cause you to press wrong key frequently.

The battery life is ok, around 3 hours on web surfing. Enough for quick access of your documents or Internet on-the-go. Not suitable for you to online at Starbucks from 9-5 without charging.
