The FourSquare Princess

March 2nd, 2010 | Category: Cute & Funny, Web | View Comments

I stumble upon the foursquare’s error message with a cute crying princess and the message:

Looks like we’ve got some problems on our end.

Have you seen it before? I think it’s cute and made me forgive the site error.

What is my Twitter account worth?” is a simple site to tell you how much one’s twitter account worth.

Simply submit a Twitter username (you can check your friend’s account) and it will tell you how much it worths. There is no information on how they estimate the value, though.

At Last, Maybank Launch Maybank2U Mobile

January 21st, 2010 | Category: Malaysia, Web | View Comments

Maybank, the largest bank and financial group in Malaysia, launched Maybank2u Mobile, the mobile version of its online banking website.

The mobile site (http://mobile.maybank2u.com.my) is still in beta version and will be tested for 3 months. The functionality is limited with only 3 main menu items:

  • Account summary — allows you to check your Maybank accounts.
  • Transfer — allows you to transfer money to your own account, favorite 3rd party account, and favorite interbank GIRO transfer. No option to transfer funds to new bank account.
  • Payment — allows you to make bill payments (hire purchases and credit cards only), and credit card payments.

Maybank2u mobile works well on my iPhone. Does it work on your phone’s web browser?

My two cents

It is good to know that the local bank is putting their effort to make online banking available to mobile users. The Maybank2u mobile is simple but handy when you need fast access to your bank account.

What do you think?
