Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update for ASUS Transformer Pad

An email from ASUS Malaysia confirmed that ASUS Transformer Pad will get Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update soon.

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be rolling out a major software update for the ASUS Transformer Pad, which will bring Android™ 4.1, Jelly Bean to the device for the first time.

The new mobile operating system update will add some new features, including new power saving options, global file search and improvements to pre-installed apps.

ASUS Transformer Pad is the first to get Jelly Bean updates for the Transformer Series. ASUS Transformer Pad is currently pre-installed Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

It will be the first to get Jelly Bean updates in ASUS’ Transformer Series. Jelly Bean update plans for other Transformer Pad Series devices will be announced soon.
