Most of the image capture tool cannot take video screenshots. However, there is exception. :)

MovieSnapshot is a small tool(no installation required) to play and capture video screenshots. It is freeware, of course. :)

Author’s description:

With MovieSnapshot you can extract and save single movie frames (all movie formats supported by the Windows MediaPlayer) as JPEG files. MovieSnapshot uses Microsofts new DirectShow interface and it is Windows2000 and WindowsXP compatible. MovieSnapshot is freeware.

This little software is cool! No installation required, small and fast. I use it as windows media player replacement!
(Windows media player is too FAT!)

I don’t happen to use Windows 2000, just ME. One related problem that mystifies me is how after ripping a movie music theme from a movie CD and saved as MP3, I get no sound on playback. Itplays alright according to Win Amp and Power DVD but no sound. Have updated CODECS and sound system apparently is okay on diasgnostic check. Any suggestion please?
