Thought:
The download size of Windows XP SP2 is really a nightmare for slow connection users. Free CD is a good solution to encourage user to install it. Afterall, it is meaningless for SP2 if no user install it, right? ;)

If your friends haven’t update to SP2, please ask them to get the free CD. It will help your friends to have more secure computing experience using Windows XP.

USB Weight Sensor

Weight scale with a Phidget Interface. Add the ability to weigh up to 140 kilograms to your application!

Besides like Engadget suggested that you can blog your daily weight using this device, I think it can be more useful.

I was once asked to write an application for a chicken seller. They prefer the application able to collect data of chicken sold with weight of each, without manual data entry.

The PhidgetWeightSensor may be used in that way. :)

P2P Network for Hospitals

August 28th, 2004 | Category: Technology | No Comments

http://www.itmedia.co.jp/news/articles/0408/26/news053.html

…the Japanese government’s National Institute of Communications and Information Technology is experimenting with a P2P network that links up 16 hospitals and allows them to do high-speed searches and transfers of encrypted patient information and high-quality 3D moving images. The aim is to avoid doubling up on medical tests, avoid the risk of double-dosing patients with drugs, and make sure that their medical histories are immediately available even if they switch hospitals…

Thought:
Perhaps it will change the bad image of P2P network technology in illegal file sharing.
