Firefox Breaks 5 Million Downloads!
Filed in: Mozilla — October 19th, 2004

Firefox just crossed the 5 Million downloads mark!! Wow! This last week we averaged over 125,000 per day and it’s still going strong.
Keep talking about Firefox. Keep pushing it on relatives, co-workers, and class mates. They’ll appreciate not being infested with adware, spyware, and other Internet nasties that are making the IE-viewed Web such a painful experience. Keep it up!You all are taking back the Web! –Asa

I can’t seem to get myself to change to Firefox though. I’m too used to MyIE2 @ Maxthon, maybe because it has ‘mouse gestures’.

well, simply install Firefox mouse gesture extension and you got the same thing. Firefox render pages faster than IE.

Lucia: install SingleWindow to open links in new tab.
You may also want to install Super DragAndGo to open link or search by dragging keywords/url.

Firefox is growing fast: Why are we predicting small numbers?
According to the Mozilla Foundation only 10% of web surfers are going to be using a mozilla based browser by the end of 2005. ONLY 10 percent! Heh, Mike Davidson even seems to think that’s a bit out of proportion. I mean, even in the first two days of…
