Looking for big email space with POP access ? Try JLMail.

JLMail is a free email service with unlimited mailbox space and POP access. The signup process is very simple, just fill in name, user id, and password.

The JLMail interface is simple, in fact, TOO simple. The advantage is fast loading speed.

JLMail features are similar to other webmail, email folders, calendar, contact, etc. The most outstanding feature is POP access. You can download emails to your computer using email client like Thunderbird. POP access is the feature that you don’t found in most free webmail sites.

Oh! Did I mention JLMail allow UNLIMITED mailbox space? I am not sure how truth it is. Let me know if you exceeded the Unlimited space limit. ;)

Plus, JLMail is ads free!

The truth is out. I am Jeremy Langford owner and operator of JLmail, and it’s true I don’t have any quota settings on the server, which is unlimited.

Any questions just give me an email

Mr. Jeremy, if you happen to read this, I haven’t been able to log in my JLmail for a couple of weeks now. I hope you are upgrading the service, not shutting it down. I have quite a few valueable emails in there.

LCF, as you blogged about it, I assume you’re also a user. Any problem on your side?

Well, it’s official: JLmail has been shut down on Nov 5, 2004. That’s bad news for many ‘users’.

LCF, can you blog about this fly-by-night free email providers? You should warn users not to store any sensitive and valueable information on these unreliable services (like I have *sobs*)

Little update: I’ve just signed up half an hour ago, and the first mail is already sent – and now it’s March 2005. So it seems that currently http://www.jlmail.com works again. By the way: You can choose between some different interfaces. – I hope it won’t be shut down again as it seems to work well, and the simple interface is practical for those with low bandwidth connection.

hey what’s up everyone, I am sorry about in the past when I had to shut the service off in order to do some major upgrades back then I had the connection on a slow internet connection so it wasn’t very reliable, just so you know I still have a copy of all old emails that way you know you have lost your personal life :-D . It’s hard to get everyone to agree with you on most things, but I think this time most people do agree. if you have any questions, comments, and complaints just email me them, and I will give you a quick response.

    Thanks,

I was gonna also say that the space don’t really consider it to be unlimited, because as we all know that is impossible, but I don’t have any quotas set.

I just signed-up for an account with JL – logged off and now cannot sign-in because of invalid cookie. Not too bright like you guys – why did that come up?
