Register and get a New York phone number for FREE?! Wow! As said in OSNews article, StanaPhone might be Skype’s big competitor.
Calling from Kuala Lumpur to a StanaPhone number is 3.70¢ per minute. Calling from other parts of Malaysia is 3.80¢ per minute. Is this accptable rate?
I do not test it because I don’t have mic. If you have tried it, let me know about your view.

Wrong. Calling from StanaPhone to a KL number is USD0.037 per minute, but not the other way round. Calling a StanaPhone number from local PSTN phone will cost you heaps.
