Use P2P softwares for “file sharing”? How much you understand your P2P software? Are you sure that it does not install any unwanted (spyware, adware, etc) as well? Benjamin Edelman ran a Comparison of Unwanted Software Installed by P2P Programs.
Computer users have recently come to face a barrage of software installed on their PCs even though they don’t want it. Some of this software arrives through security holes. Other programs come from misleading popups that look like official messages reporting required browser updates. This article investigates a further source of unwanted software: Add-ons bundled with peer-to-peer filesharing programs.

The tested P2P softwares are eDonkey, iMesh, Kazaa, LimeWire, and Morpheus. LimeWire is the cleaness P2P software among them. It has only ads promoting the paid version of LimeWire. Kazaa is the worst.
Thought:
Uninstall Kazaa, get a free and clean P2P software. Personally, I use eMule Plus if I want to share files in P2P network.
P/S: Ares P2P is quite popular. I haven’t try it. From the FAQ, it has bundled an optional software, make sure you don’t install it.
