Better Google Adsense for Publisher
Filed in: Adsense Tips, Google, Make Money Online — April 26th, 2005

Google Adsense is testing new features for Adsense publisher(me!). Most of the new features will increase publisher profit!
- Site targeting: Site-targeted ads allow advertisers to select the specific sites they feel are most appropriate to their campaign, and to run their ads only on those sites.
- CPM bidding: With site-targeted advertising, advertisers set a maximum CPM bid and pay on a per-impression basis. This means that, unlike pay-per-click ads, you’ll earn revenue each time a CPM ad is displayed on your site.
- Expanded text ads: one ad fill whole ad space.
- More image ads: image ad only selection, Flash ads, and image ad for wide skyscraper .

Thought:
I am very excited about “site targeting”, “CPM bidding” and “image ad only”. They will directly or indirectly increase adsense revenue.
Currently, I only see the wide skyscraper image ad and “image ad only” are new in my adsense account. Wish they will apply the new features to my account soon!
