I heard that TMNET TEMPORARY SERVICE INTERRUPTION (the page is updated! …removed the small yellow color markup error.) is only fully restored at 20th April. But the line is ok since Sunday, however, it proved to me that it is not recovered yet.

Suddenly, I cannot access some websites, included one of my web hosting server and msn messenger refuse to connect.

It is not good. I found the solution, anyway.

Find a Good Proxy
I try to search for proxy to jump over the fault connection. Google still works but cannot access to the search result page. Argh!

I use Baidu, and found ProxyList.US. After trials and errors, I am using a HongKong proxy. Wow! Run at full speed! Probably faster than direct connection! (Note: Malaysia has direct link to HongKong)

Connect MSN Messenger using Proxy
I tried the same proxy server on MSN Messenger, and it works too! To set MSN Messenger to use proxy for connection, goto Tools > Options > Connection > Advance Settings…

I choose HTTP Proxy, enter the proxy ip and port number then Test the connection. Works! Done! (Note: depends on the proxy server, you may want to enter proxy info into other proxy options.)
