DIY Blue Light Optical Mouse

Have you notice that optical mouse always use red color LED? How about change it to blue color LED or your favourite color?
HEEPC Hardware has a DIY article(chinese) on changing optical mouse’s LED. It is not hard if you know a little bit electrical work.
Basically, here are the steps:
- open up the case of your optical mouse.
- carefully take out the electrical board, turn it over to locate the LED
- Replace the default red color LED with your own LED(BURN it on the board).
- Done.
Note:
- this will caused warranty void.
- make sure the LED you replace is same size.
- white color LED does not work well.
