The Firemonger Project
Filed in: Downloads, Mozilla — May 11th, 2005

The Firemonger project is dedicated to providing an easy to use CD which contains the latest versions of Firefox and Thunderbird, the completely free web browser and email program created by the non-profit Mozilla Foundation. In addition to these amazing products, we’ve added a selection of plugins, extensions and themes and a beginner’s guide.
Thought:
I often introduce Firefox to my friends, but the default Firefox is really… plain. My friends cannot feel the power/advantage of using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
To convince them, I will need to install various useful plugins for them… that’s tired. Now with Firemonger(fishmonger? selfish?), I just throw them a Firemonger CD and that’s it. Nice! ![]()

@ahkiong: it is free downloadable, both ZIP and ISO(disk image) format. However, the plugins(extensions) need to install manually. They are not bundled with Firefox.

I have already distributed about 3 CDs around and I see a lot of new Firefox and Thunderbird users around in my office now. Maybe I will put up a collage of screen shots of each computer using Firefox.

Thank you for all your support. It’s great to hear firemonger is really spreading firefox and thunderbird. As a firemonger developer, reading such encouraging comments really makes my day! Keep on spreading and thanks again!
