RM1000 in A Month from Google Adsense, I did it!
Filed in: Make Money Online, Malaysia — May 25th, 2005
Thank you, guys! I achieved my first Target of Earning Money from Internet – RM1000 in a month!
Here is my Adsense earning for the current month(May 2005) till this morning and the exchange rate from XE.com.

There are six days before end of the month, perhaps can reach RM1300 by then. This is pure adsense income, I haven’t add up the BlogAds revenue. If everything goes right, I think I will reach second target – RM2000 in a month – for June 2005.
Thought:
Well, there are local bloggers earning more than me from their blogs, just that I am more expose to public.
Believe it or not, my adsense income increasing after I set the target. That’s amazing! Like what I said, we need to have a target.
By the way, I am sharing and giving out free custom adsense tips for your blog at Malaysia Bloggers Forum.
Hmm… I am thinking of donating a portion of my monthly adsense income for charity, maybe five to ten percents. Preferable a bank account number that I can transfer fund via e-banking.

You did what to make your adsense earn so much, aside from target setting?
May 25th, 2005 at 12:02 pm
Congrates, Liew !!
You are right, we need to have targets in our life, otherwise we are like sailing without compass and eye sight.
As a newbie in blogging, one of my targets is to reach something similar to your monthly traffic, then achieve the next target like what you have achieved this morning.
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Cheers !!

congrats! I din know that was possible…haha…

I need to upgrade my journal actually. Been thinking about it the past week. So that means money to spend on hosting and url. Promoting ads would definitely be a good way to reimburse those costs. But if the figures are as high as what your getting, I’ll definitely be able to spend more time writing more quality articles…..hmm… not too bad an idea.

Thats great. I thought it was impossible to get any money from Adsense forget Rm1000.
BTW, doneting part of your money to charity is a great thought.

people like you deserve all the clicks……congrats!!

sigh… pity me…
May 25th, 2005 at 4:25 pm
Wow! Congrats!!!
Really respect you. I think beginning from this moment, this post is surely to be linked from growing number of sites, to prove that AdSense works! You did it

For anyone who blogged for 2, 3 years and get “good enuff” amount of visitors…i wouldn’t think that’s something to boast about rite? Anyway congrats hehe…Hopefully when i reach your age i will earn as much as you do.
May 25th, 2005 at 5:05 pm
oh yeah…u havent tell us how much u earn from blogads
May 25th, 2005 at 5:07 pm
Congrats,…
But be careful. Some bugger may be green eyed and start to sabotage you. Better lay low profile. Some people in Webmasterworld reportedly earned more than USD10,000 per month, what they called UPS Club, but if you take note, they’re normally very seclusive.
Anyway, congrats, and may more to come.
cheers,

hmm, looks like this adsense thing is so easy, maybe i should just outsource some people in china to click on my website adsense nonstop and earn like RM10000 each month. just kidding. looking at your site stat ‘blogchart’ at the right hand side, all you need is just 3000 visitor per day to earn that much? i always thought the number should be higher, like 30,000 visitors, looks like i’m wrong.
May 25th, 2005 at 9:49 pm
wow! RM1000 a month?? good lord! just imagine if i get that much. how i envy you.
congrats, lcf, and may you continue to earn even more.
May 25th, 2005 at 10:27 pm
I know hows the feeling liew. I’d experience this about 10 months ago, and guess what, after that I set the target for RM 3,000 and I get it in December and now my target is RM 10,000 a month which is seem really really possible to achieve it this month. So people, wake up, google adsense really give you some money, create a good website and wait for the money to pour in

Congrats, LcF.. I’m really green eyed
I just put some google ad which i had stopped for more than 6 months.
BTW, Yahoo will launch its Yahoo! Ads soon. Will the money easier to earn? since the minimum bid is USD0.10 and at least USD20 spent per month for Yahoo advertisers.

@chewxy: hmm.. update often and blog what ppl interested?
@SapiensBryan: ya, traffic is important. you can do better!
@wil@theblackjournal & Adam: yes, it is possible! That’s what I want to show you.
@Fashionasia: ppl like me? like what?
@~shadow~: don’t waste time to pity yourselves. Work on your blog, you can do it too!
@Tien Soon: thank you. I see you are on the track too
@Kahsoon: yes, you can do it – before my age. I started late, you are lucky. My current BlogAd is USD18 per ad for a week. You calculate for me?
@Blogger: thank you for advice. Maybe I will stay low profile when I am earning much. I am just show to Malaysian that Google Adsense is not bullshit.
@andycjw: Adsense is easy But NEVER try to cheat Google. To get higher adsense income, we need traffic + click rate + high pay ad.
@lucia: thank you. You can do it too.
@alang: hehe.. thank you. You made me think Adsense is possible.
@ThePlayers: take some times to concentrate on your sites and one day you will found that Adsense is paying back your effort.
About Yahoo Ad, I doubt it will available to Malaysian soon. Plus, not many websites are implementing it at beginning, I wonder how many advertisers will bid for the ads. I think, you do not actually earn more at the beginning.
May 26th, 2005 at 12:10 pm
theplayers: i thought Yahoo Ads = Overture?
May 26th, 2005 at 1:18 pm
@Paul Tan: Yahoo bought Overture. The new ad program is similar to google adsense, which display the ads in personal website not (limited) to Yahoo! search result.

Adsense
I think I’ve blogged briefly about this some moons back, but that was on the placement of the ads itself. For the uninitiated, Google Adsense is, to put it loosely, a way for you to earn money from…

I have an freewebsite related handicraft items. i receive 1200 visitors to my website daily. I run google adsense in my website. but i can not earn so much money , so what i will do to get more revenue from google adsense.
February 9th, 2006 at 10:55 pm
hehe, i think you have broken adsense’s policy by publishing your revenue made with google and also by publishing other ads other than adsense
February 9th, 2006 at 11:29 pm
@bb: please quote me the Adsense program policies statements.
February 9th, 2006 at 11:33 pm
Nope….Google changed their TOS…..revealing our earning won’t violate Google TOS.
BTW….I am still struggling for USD 10 per day……aiya poor me
February 9th, 2006 at 11:36 pm
@Malaysia Top 100 Websites (do you really need to use loong nickname): thank you for confirmation
and good luck in Adsense.
February 9th, 2006 at 11:56 pm
LCF: Malaysia Top 100 Websites (do you really need to use loong nickname)
Hmm…..let’s reduce it to ‘Malaysia 100 Topsites’ is it better now?
Yalor…..Making USD 1000 a month from Adsense is not easy nowaday as most of the advertiser don’t pay much for ad in Malaysia.
But hopefully we both can achieve that before end of the year….cheers
