Share Skype Blog is Powered by Mambo

Back at the beginning of May 2005 Phil Taylor was approached by skype to investigate the ability of Mambo to provide the base CMS functions on which to build a successful community site for a product, Skype, that has in approx 3 MILLION USERS online at any moment in time and has had over 112,834,653 downloads!

The answer was simple, Mambo can handle it!
- as long as the right additional development was undertaken by an experienced Mambo Expert! (Thats Phil Taylor!)

The Share Skype community site is a mixture of a Blog, (Free, unpaid) Affiliate program and a site where community members can earn points and comment on artilces. It brings together a whole range of Skype community services, including the expanding developer program, and provides statistics on the use and distribution of the Skype Client.

Hmm… Mambo. I have put it aside for a long time since I drop into blog and adsense. :P Anyway, I highly recommend Mambo to build an interactive website. It is powerful, flexible and easy to use. :)

    I just start to use mambo for my new site.. a little confuse at first. But it’s really a great software to manage web content.
