Speecys-FC is the world’s first fuel cells powered robot. You guessed it, it is created by Japanese. The robot carry five fuel cell modules, each arm has two and another one at the back. The robot height 50cm, weight 4.2KG. It is to be available on the market around July, price USD$24,000.

Connected to a mobile phone, portable DVD player or digital camera, the Teleglass projects high-resolution video on eyeglasses, with the wearer seeing images as if watching a 14-inch television screen from 3 feet away, according to Scalar. A switcher lets wearers use their dominant eye to watch video, and the eyewear projects images to either the left or right eye, leaving the other unobstructed.

Thai fishermen catch, eat record-sized catfish

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Fishermen in northern Thailand have caught the biggest catfish on record — a 646-pound (293-kg) giant the size of a grizzly bear — and eaten it, the WWF and the National Geographic Society said on Wednesday.

The giant catfish, believed to be the largest freshwater fish ever found, was caught along the Mekong River, home to more species of massive fish than any river on Earth.

Microsoft to Simplify AJAX Development

Not to be left out of any development trends, Microsoft is working to simplify the job of building so-called AJAX applications, or Web applications with sophisticated graphics.

The company is building software, code-named Atlas, that provides developers with tools designed to ease creation of AJAX-style applications. An early version of the software will be made available to developers at the company’s Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles in September.
