First PayPal Donation
Filed in: Charity, Life Log — June 26th, 2005
Surprisingly, I received my first online donation yesterday! It is USD$1(but PayPal deducted $0.34 process fee…) and amusingly it is on the name of my marriage fund.
Of coz, I was just kidding, I don’t even have a girlfriend yet! Oh, there are many reasons to date me!
I moved the USD$1 to my donation page. Donation received will be re-donated for charity, as long as I do not short of cash. (oh no, I won’t!)
Talking about charity, I will support Yvone Foong’s blogathon. It is about blogging 24 hours for charity, more details at http://www.blogathon.org.

No girlfriend? But would be too late to start saving only when you have one!

ah, liew,
i’ve applied for a paypal account, when i tried to click your donation button, seems i’ve to choose a credit card type and verify. that means i can’t donate you anything if i don’t have a credit card, right?

stchatterbox: huh? you can’t donate your paypal money to me? have you add a credit card info to your paypal account? I am not sure if the credit card info a must or not…

nope, i don have a credit card, liew, but seems they say a credit card isn’t a must!
I’ve read through the help section, but seemed to find nothing on the matter.

@stchatterbox,
Credit cards are not a must to use paypal. However, without a credit card, paypal would not be able to verify you using their expanded program.
Being an unverified paypal user, legitimate business may hesitate to deal with you plus a bunch of other paypal restrictions such as limited sending of funds.
